Our Council
Knights of Columbus Council 11961 is a Catholic brotherhood dedicated to putting our faith into action.
Through Faith, Family, Community and Life, we strive to strengthen Catholic men and their families, support our parish, serve those in need, defend the dignity of human life, and make a positive difference in our community.
Guided by the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism, we believe being a Knight means more than belonging to an organization—it means being willing to pray, serve, lead and stand together.

Our Approach
Strengthen Our Faith
We will help our brother Knights grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become stronger in their Catholic faith.
We will encourage prayer, participation in the Sacraments, Catholic education, Bible study, spiritual formation and support for our priests and parish.
Our goal: Build men who don't simply belong to the Church—but live their faith every day.
Strengthen Catholic Families
The family is the foundation of the Church and our community.
We will create opportunities for Knights and their families to pray, worship, serve and spend time together.
We will support programs that encourage strong marriages, responsible fatherhood, family prayer and a Christ-centered home.
Our goal: Help build families where faith is lived, shared and passed on to the next generation.
Serve Those in Need
Charity is at the heart of who we are.
We will look for needs in our parish and community and respond with our time, talent and treasure.
Whether someone needs a meal, financial assistance, a helping hand, encouragement or simply someone who cares, we want to be there.
Our goal: When there is a need, Council 11961 will strive to be there.
Strengthen Our Parish
We will be active partners with St. Mary's and support our pastor, priests, ministries and parishioners.
We will use our resources, manpower and talents to help strengthen the life of our parish.
Our goal: Make the St. Joseph Carmelite communitey a stronger, more vibrant Catholic community through our service.
Build Brotherhood
A Knight should never have to walk alone.
We will build a brotherhood where Knights encourage one another, pray for one another, help one another and stand beside one another in times of difficulty.
We will welcome new members and make every Knight feel that he is an important part of Council 11961.
Our goal: Build a brotherhood rooted in Christ where every Knight has a place and a purpose.
Protect and Defend Life
We will stand for the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death.
We will support mothers, children, families, the elderly, people with disabilities and those who are vulnerable or forgotten.
Our goal: Be a voice for life and a source of practical support for those who need it most.
Serve Our Community
Council 11961 will look beyond the walls of our parish.
We will support worthy community organizations, charitable causes, veterans, first responders, families and individuals who need assistance.
We will seek opportunities where our Knights can roll up their sleeves and make a difference.
Our goal: Make our community better because Council 11961 is here.
Live Out True Patriotism
We will honor our nation, respect those who serve and remember those who have sacrificed for our freedom.
We will encourage responsible citizenship and remind ourselves that loving our country also means serving our neighbors.
Our goal: Be faithful Catholics and faithful citizens.
Develop Catholic Men of Action
We want Council 11961 to be known not simply for what we discuss at meetings, but for what we accomplish.
We will encourage every Knight to find a way to serve—whether through prayer, volunteering, leadership, charitable giving, helping a brother Knight or simply being there when someone needs help.
Our goal: Turn Catholic faith into Catholic action.
